I can hear my Savior calling, I can hear my Savior calling, I can hear my Savior calling, “Take thy cross and follow, follow Me.”
Where He leads me I will follow, Where He leads me I will follow, Where He leads me I will follow, I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.
I’ll go with Him through the waters, I’ll go with Him through the waters, I’ll go with Him through the waters, I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.
I’ll go with Him through the garden, I’ll go with Him through the garden, I’ll go with Him through the garden, I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.
He will give me grace and glory, He will give me grace and glory, He will give me grace and glory. And go with me, with me all the way.
Oh how this old hymn has echo'd in my heart & soul these past few weeks. As we continue to prepare for our departure I have been reminded not only of the call to follow Him, but the truth that He will go with us, all the way.
I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of you who have been praying for us. We are so humbled by the support we feel from our friends & family. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to prepare to leave; there is no greater way to stand with us in this time. I also want to communicate our deep gratitude for those who have been prompted to support us financially. It is so overwhelming to see the Lord provide thru you. Our goal before departure is to raise $2,500 monthly. As of right now we have 1/3 of that commited. If you have a desire to support us, please contact us so we can give further details as to how.
It is hard to believe that September is here. The time is passing like sand thru the hour glass it seems. We have been busy trying to cross tasks off of our list as we look at the legistics of selling the things we own & moving to the M.E. This last month has literally felt more like a whirlwind or a trainwreck than an actual month. In our last post we mentioned leaving Kansas around the end of September, but due to plan changing we are hoping to leave mid-October, traveling to Georgia for a month, & then leaving for the M.E. around Thanksgiving. All of our plans our dependant upon two main things: 1) God's perfect timing 2) financial funding.
As time ticks on we feel our hearts shifting toward excitement and anticipation. We sense the Lord continue to remind us to have that one thing mindset which Paul speaks of in Philippians 3:13-14, "but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind & straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Oh that we all may count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus and gaining Him, which is far better than any pleasure this world has to offer!
Our desire for this website is to keep it updated even after we move. For security reasons we will be changing our emails, getting off social media, & be very cautious of what we say online. This is the best way to stay informed as we transition, & while we are gone.
